After Behringer's successful debut of the DeepMind 12 synth, they promised to develop and release more. We're happy to say they've kept that promise with the DeepMind 12D. This is a desktop version of the popular DeepMind 12 that does not have a keyboard, so you can easily link it to the rest of your gear. Behringer has equipped this desktop synth with polychain, making it easy to use in combination with other synthesizers. You can also mount it in a rack!
DeepMind 12D: a real DeepMind on your desk
The DeepMind 12D is a fully-fledged DeepMind 12 analogue polysynth with 12 voices. The sounds are produced by means of two digitally-controlled analogue oscillators with two LFOs per voice. It also offers three envelopes, a noise generator and unison mode with detune fader. Furthermore, the DeepMind 12D boasts a complete 8-bus modulation matrix, a 32-step sequencer, and four digital effects processors.

Allereerst wordt je een beetje overweldigt door de vele instellingen ivm midi , wanneer je alles hebt ingesteld op de synth en je alles hebt ingesteld qua routing over de midi hub en de SL mkIII heeft verbinding dan wordt je overrompeld door het geluid...
8 banken van elk 128 presets, dus 1024 in totaal, je bent al snel een paar dagen verder eer je die allemaal hebt beluisterd. 12 stemmig polyfonisch, arp functie, chord en poly chord ondersteuning, echt verbazend dat Behringer zoveel kan bieden voor deze prijs.
Ik had in een paar youtube reviews ook gemerkt dat er klachten waren ivm de ingebouwde ventilatoren, dat deze veel geluid maakten. Mijn ervaring heeft me tot nu toe geleerd dat Behringer deze vervangen heeft door stille exemplaren want ik heb nog geen vervelend geluid gehoord zelfs niet als ik de ventilators op 100% zet in de instellingen.
Wifi en BT zit er inderdaad ook op MAAR, de laatste upgrade van Ios herkent de app niet meer en voor zover ik al gezocht heb naar een app voor android heeft deze zelfs nooit bestaan. De pc en mac app werken daarentegen wel perfect en bieden de mogelijkheid om backups te maken van ofwel 1 preset, of een volledige bank. Verder kan je zelf eigen banken creëren patches downloaden en via de pa/mac app uploaden, firmware uploaden, etc.
De app geeft je ook de volledige controle van de sequencer en arp settings.
Ik zou nog wel even door kunnen gaan, maar dat kan ik er beter een video over maken en dat gaat dan weer veel te lang duren.
Een top toestel voor een heel aanvaardbare prijs maar vergeet er geen usb kabel bij te kopen (indien je er geen op overschot hebt liggen) want dat vonden ze bij Behringer niet nodig die erbij te doen.

Ik had het eerst niet gezien maar de wifi en bluetooth aansluiting maken de deepmind 12d nog veelzijdiger.

Le synthétiseur est vraiment complet, intuitif, ergonomique, il a un son excellent avec des effets de très haute qualité. De plus, le look de cette version rack est splendide et inspire la confiance Et la solidité.
Le large ecran est superbe, les commandes coulent de source et tout est sous la main pour créer un son rapidement. Les presets sont bons ( bien que souvent trop chargés en reverb, mais il suffit de diminuer les effets pour que ça sonne à la perfection )
Çe synthe rivalise sans complexe avec les plus grands de çette catégorie qui valent le double de son prix.
Le seul petit point négatif à mon goût est le fait que la version software du synthe ne fonctionne pour l instant uniquement en stand Alone, une version plugin serait la bienvenue pour une parfaite intégration dans le DAW.
En bref, un super poly synth pour un prix très correct . Merci behringer
