The Analog Four MKII is the second version of the highly-popular analogue synth by Swedish brand Elektron. This 4-voice synthesizer has digital-driven analogue oscillators for speedy, reliable and practical operation. It has a robust aluminium housing that is slightly larger in size than the first model yet weighs virtually the same. The fact that this compact tabletop synth is sturdy and lightweight means you can easily take it with you without having to worry about it. Compared to the original model, the Elektron Analog Four MKII has been thoroughly upgraded and sports a few new features of its own.

Analog Four MKII: improved synth sounds and effects

The sequencer allows you full control over the synth sounds and via four CV/Gate outputs, you can easily connect and operate external equipment like other synths. Elektron's Overbridge software gives you powerful tools to use when you connect the Analog Four MKII up to a computer. Each voice has its own stereo audio outputs. The analogue circuitry has been reworked for deeper bass with better definition. The analogue overdrive been enhanced too and now has more bite and growl. Effects like delay, reverb and chorus are all present and correct to help you get just the sound you're looking for.

Quicker, easier and clearer

There are more on-board controls, which makes it easier to experiment and speeds up your workflow. This makes the Analog Four MKII easier to use in live settings. So does the larger OLED display and the backlit buttons, which means even performing on a dark stage is no problem. Even though this synth is intuitive to use, the buttons and pads are clearly labelled too just in case you get lost in your music in the middle of your performance!
