The Ferrofish B4000+ organ expander can't wait to be played and has been equipped with nine drawbars and six potentiometers to dial in, control and tweak the optimum Hammond B3 sound in an intuitive way. The B4000+ re-creates the full sonic spectrum of the Hammond B3 organ, including all of the bells and whistles that have helped give the original its legendary status. Safe inside its sturdy, metal housing, a collection of effects, adjustable key-click parameters and tone wheels await you.

Ik heb dit ding nu zo'n 2 jaar en ben erg tevreden. De geluiden zijn super, je kunt van alles instellen (net als bij de B4) en dat alles in een stalen behuizing waar je bij wijze van spreken met de auto overheen kunt rijden. Ik gebruik hem in combinatie met een Neo Mini Vent II voor een superieure lesley simulatie.
Laatst in een studio: "Wat hoor ik toch voor een bijgeluid?" "Ja, dat is de wind uit de lesley".
De combinatie is werkelijk top. Vanwege de NeoVent wat mij betreft beter dan een Nord Electro, of een computer on stage met een hammond plugin. De combinatie kan het zelfs opnemen tegen een gemikte echte Hammond met lesley. Bespaart je bovendien heel veel gesjouw en heel veel geld.
De reden dat ik geen 6 sterren geef, is dat - behalve de drawbars - maar enkele functies direct toegankelijk zijn. Maar wat wil je met zo'n klein kastje. En on stage gebruik ik toch alleen drawbars en lesley slow-fast.
De Ferrofish is nu fors in prijs verlaagd. Ik zou zeggen: race naar Bax en grijp je kans.
