Moog Theremini Synthesizer

General

The Moog Theremini is a deluxe version of the legendary Etherwave Theremin. The Theremini is also a synthesizer with presets and effects, and its sleek, futuristic design takes you straight to the set of the latest Star Trek film. You can play it in the traditional way: by moving your hands along - but not touching - the antennas, which register their relative position. The upright antenna influences the key, while the oval antenna affects the dynamics of the sound you're creating.

Theremini: Sounds

The Theremini is equipped with a built-in wavetable synthesizer with 32 presets. A number of knobs allows you to quickly adjust the root note, the pitch and ping-pong delay for each sound. The range can also easily be set, so you always stay within a selected scale - ideal for novices who've just started playing this unique, fascinating instrument. All the settings of the Moog Theremini can be viewed on a well-organised, monochrome backlit LCD display.

Connectors

Most of the connectors of the Theremini are located at the rear: you'll find two line outputs, a CV connector and a USB port for connection to a computer. The front is fitted with a headphone output, so you can have midnight Theremini freak-outs when the spirit moves you.
