General

With the MX49 BK MK2 synthesizer, Yamaha offers the perfect middle ground between hardware and software. Not only, is it an excellent synth featuring Motif XS, based on an extensive waveform ROM, but it also, it functions as both an audio and a MIDI interface and offers seamless integration with DAW software. Since Steinberg has been part of Yamaha for a while now, it may not come as a surprise that this synth comes complete with Cubase AI. Furthermore, iPad users can use the included Cubase LE in combination with the MX49.

Features of the Yamaha MX49 BK MK2

Apart from programming beautiful contemporary sounds with this synth, you can create rather large arrangements as well with the 128-voice polyphony and 16-part multi timbre. For a bit of extra flair, use the extensive effects section together with the VCM engine for vintage effect simulation. The fact that the MX49 is particularly lightweight makes it also suitable for live performances. However, Yamaha didn't forget about the keyboard itself either, and they made sure to deliver an expertly crafted keyboard that is comfortable to play. To top it all off, the MX49 is also compatible with FM Essential, which is an app for iPhone and iPad. If you use it to connect your iOS device to the MX you can access all of the features and sounds of the app with the MX. With the MX49 you'll have all of the expressive forms of FM synthesis at your fingertips!

Puntgave klanken! Zeer goed transporteerbaar & bespeelbaar. Echt Yamaha: eerlijke, betaalbare topkwaliteit. Zit ongetwijfeld veel meer in het toestel dan ik eruit haal, maar dan moet je wel even scrollen in de menuopties. Met de 4 knoppen die 12 klankopties bedienen, kom je uiteraard ook heel ver. Topper!

De MX49 is zeer gebruiksvriendelijk en heeft een breed scala aan mooie sounds met veel tweak mogelijkheden. En als je FM Essential installeerd is de MX49 meer dan klaar voor gebruik in combinatie met Cubase AI of welke DAW applicatie dan ook. De prijs is zeker niet te hoog.

Ik ben uiterst tevreden met de MX49
