General
Nothing is as difficult as amplifying or recording a drum kit. This is partly thanks to the large tone-differences that a drum kit can produce. The low tones of the bass drum and the cymbals make most microphones quit after a while. That won't happen with this AKG microphone. The high-grade materials ensure that it is very durable. The movable head also makes it easier to pick up the best sound. You can easily mount the clip on the rim of a drum and as the head is rotatable, you can ensure that the sound is picked up optimally without the microphone getting in the way. It can be used wirelessly, as the mini XLR fits in any WMS bodypack. In short: select this microphone and you will be able to provide a great sound for drum kits and other percussion instruments.
