General

Blink 182's Travis Barker and Linkin Park's Rob Bourdon are just two of the many famous drummers who openly confess their love for Remo. Not without reason: Remo is one of the best manufacturers of drum and percussion materials. The Emperor series of drumheads comes in two different varieties. This coated variety is equipped with two plies of 0.178 mm Mylar film. Due to the double layer of Mylar these drumheads are highly durable and will last a long time.

Characteristics of the Remo BE-0116-00 Drumhead

The choice of a good drumhead is very important: it defines the sound of your drum kit, after all. Due to the double layer of Mylar, this BE-0116-00 drumhead has a warmer sound than the clear variety and a medium sustain. This 16-inch coated Emperor is an excellent choice for both studio and stage purposes and is great for pop, R&B, rock, etc. These drumheads are suited for your floor tom.
