Characteristics of the Remo BE-0110-00 drumhead

The Emperor series of drumheads comes in two different varieties. This coated variety is equipped with two plies of 0.178 mm Mylar film. Thanks to the two plies of Mylar, this type of drumhead offers a warmer sound than its clear cousins. If you want a warmer sound and medium sustain from your 10-inch tom or snare drum, then this might be the perfect drumhead for you. It's suited for studio use, but it's also great for pop, R&B or rock drummers to use live on stage. These drumheads are suited for your snare drum or toms.

Wrote the following about Remo BE-0110-00 Emperor 10-inch coated drumhead

Zeer goed vel. Mooi afgewerkt zoals altijd bij Remo. Klinkt heel goed. Ideaal voor pop/rock. Het vel heeft genoeg punch/attack en power maar heeft ook een lange sustain. Gaat ook nog eens lang mee. Deze vellen klinken ten opzichte van de (gewone Emperor) clear vellen wat 'warmer'. Aanrader!
