General
The orange Korala PUG-40E-OR is best described as rugged and compact. Its size makes it ideal for the smaller hands of children. It is a six-string instrument that has a tuning that's a quarter above standard (ADGCEA), which means that the chords your kid learns on the Korala can later be applied to a full-size guitar. Additional versatility comes from its piezo pickup, as it allows you to plug this pint-sized guitar into an amplifier for greater volume, as well as connect it to a guitar interface for easy digital recording.
Construction of the Korala PUG-40E-OR
As it is made of acoustically optimised polycarbonate, the Korala PUG-40 is exceptionally resistant to changes in temperature or humidity. Whereas a wooden instrument easily loses its tuning when it gets ever so slightly colder, this Korala will retain its tuning excellently. Like its fully acoustic siblings, the electro-acoustic versions of the Korala PUG-40 are available in several cheerful colours, including this smashing orange version.
