Goed uitgeschreven. Sommige solo's zijn toegankelijk voor beginners, en anderen zijn wat lastiger. Zelfs bij de moeilijkste kun je er altijd wel wat 'licks' uithalen. Hier ga ik ongetwijfeld nog veel plezier uit halen. Het is jammer dat (ondanks de verwijzingen naar de opnames) de originele opnames voor sommige nummers online moeilijk te vinden zijn.

Leuke en goeie transcripties van één van mijn favoriete trompettisten.

Enige wat ik jammer vind is dat de transcripties van nummers waarin Chet ook zingt in C zijn genoteerd in plaats van Bes zoals de overige nummers.

+ Diverse selectie van nummers uit sterk uiteenlopende periodes en settings
+ Goed uitgeschreven transcripties, vaak erg precies ook qua timing

- Niet alles in voor Bes-instrumenten genoteerd, wat je wel zou verwachten. Aan de andere kant is dit ook leuke oefening voor 'transponeren-on-the-fly'
