Yamaha MP TR JHagstrom S Mouthpiece for trumpet

The collaboration between John Hagstrom and Yamaha's R&D department has resulted in the MP TR JHagstrom S mouthpiece for trumpet. This mouthpiece features a smaller rim, and therefore offers a more efficient balance between the player and the trumpet.

John Hagstrom

John Hagstrom is a natural-born musician from Chicago. Growing up, he regularly listened to the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, which he would eventually join in 1996. After studying at the Eastman School of Music for five years, he went on to play in the Marine Band in Washington DC, the Wichita Symphony Orchestra, and to serve as assistant trumpet professor at Wichita State University.
