General

Is it a tank? Is it a historical re-enactor? In a way, it's a bit of both, but most of all, the Flight Centurion is a unique electric tenor-ukulele with solid body mounted with two humbuckers. The body and neck are both made of mahogany for a warm and rich foundation sound, and Flight have tuned this Rock Series electric tenor uke in GCEA with a low G to fully accommodate veteran players. Also, as a sweet bonus, a padded gig bag with 15mm thick padding comes included.

The Rock Series Centurion: Keen Eye for Detail

To guarantee a satisfying playing experience every time you pick up the Centurion, Flight have properly thought out the design. That means this solid-body ukulele features a bone string nut and a fixed bridge for stable tuning, as well as a zero fret for optimal sounding open strings. Thanks to the two strap buttons, you're also free to fit a strap to enhance the playing comfort when you'd like to play standing up.

Versatile sound

Loaded with two passive humbuckers and a 3-way pickup switch, the Flight Centurion can serve up anything from fierce rhythm sound to warm leads, and each humbucker has its own volume and tone pot so you can dial in custom tone. Needless to say, you can plug the tenor uke into an electric guitar amp or hook it up to your pedalboard and rock out any way you want!

Wrote the following about Flight Rock Series Centurion Tenor Vintage Gold Solid-Body Electric Guitar with Gig Bag
Playing a solid bodied electric ukulele opens up so many possibilities! Each humbucker pickup has its own volume and tone controls giving a range of different sounds. Select both pickups and you can mix the two sounds together and adjust the balance to suit. The mahogany body and good quality bridge means the sustain is amazing. This does mean this instrument is considerably heavier than the acoustic ukuleles I've been used to.

The included gig bag gives a fair level of protection, thanks to its padding and strap to hold the neck. The bags neck support is attached with Velcro, so you can move it to just the right spot.

Plug into an amp and suddenly the ukulele can be as loud as any instrument. As an added bonus, it is so quiet when not amplified it is ideal for late night practice sessions that won't annoy anyone.
