With the all-new fretless edition of the Solid Body U-Bass, Kala present a perfectly balanced offset model with a super-short and super-snug 23.5 inch scale length. In fact, the total length of this electric bass comes in at just over 84 centimetres, making the U-Bass a great choice for bassists looking for a more compact, lighter and easier to manage instrument. what's also different about this electric bass, is the lack of frets. The fretboard has only been finished with fret markers, so you gain all the accuracy of a standard fretted bass, but the extra challenge and full expressive range and rounder double-bass-style sound of a fretless bass. Show-ready, the Kala Solid Body Fretless U-Bass comes pre-wrapped in its own gig bag.

Wonderful little fretless bass that has exceeded expectations. Tone is excellent, and is playable out of the box.
Adding flatwound strings, and lowering the action at both the nut and the bridge has further enhanced the playability of the instrument. Very happy with this purchase.

Ik zocht kleine bass omdat ik zelf geen grote ben.Toon overtreft verwachtingen.
Ook wou ik fretless proberen. Lang geleden heb ik veel viool gespeeld, en soms voelen frets dan in de weg. Fretless bass spelen lijkt wel iets moeilijker dan met frets, maar tot nu toe valt het heel goed mee. Ik ben eigenlijk een beginner. Ik vind deze aanwinst geweldig. Ik heb er al heel wat speelplezier mee gehad.
