Kala Brand Music Company was founded by Mike Upton in the USA in 2005 and produces hand-made ukuleles, U-basses and guitars in Petaluma, California. Just like with their ukulele basses in 2007, Kala has made a name for themselves with their signature Elite series, which has globally put the brand on the map.
