Korala PUC-20-BK polycarbonate concert ukulele + Boston bag

This was an interesting find. One of the biggest issues with small instruments can sometimes be the intonation. I've played several cheap ukuleles and most sounded terrible further up the fretboard. Because this product is basically moulded polycarbonate, we don't have this problem here because you're not relying on someone manually assembling the parts (and making errors in the process!). Other bonuses include the fact that it's lightweight and not susceptible to changes in temperature/climate. In terms of sound, I'd say it's nowhere near as good as a mahogany uke, but it's quite loud so it would work well in a band situation or in places where there's background noise. I probably wouldn't recommend this as a main uke, but it's certainly a worthwhile addition to anyone's collection.
