For the string picker who prefers to pick up a 'jumping flea' that is a bit bigger than a soprano or a concert uke, Tanglewood offers the mysterious-looking T19 from the affordable Taire series. The look is mainly determined by the choice of woods, with the silky lacquer finish completing the ukulele. What especially stands out are the body parts made of striped ebony. Besides giving each Tanglewood Tiare its own look, this results in a solid yet clear acoustic sound. By the way, it comes strung with a quality set of nylon strings by Aquila as standard.
