To begin with, Joe Bonamassa's signature wah is equipped with a vintage-style Halo inductor, which gives the pedal a surprisingly broad sweep range with a fat, punchy, harmonic tone. As you can imagine, such a feature makes the JB95 versatile enough for everything from funk to leading solos. Try using the pedal in the half-open position for boosted mid-frequencies to get that extra nasal sound for solos. Furthermore, thanks to the unique output buffer, you can easily combine the Joe Bonamassa Crybaby with other vintage pedals without worrying about imbalanced impedance.

Switchable true bypass circuit and adapter connection

The JB95 features a switch inside that allows you to choose whether or not you want to activate the true bypass mode. True bypass means that you won't experience any signal loss when the pedal is off. Joe, for instance, prefers not to use true-bypass, which filters out his high frequencies a bit for a darker sound. The switch is accessible by unscrewing the bottom plate. The Cry Baby Joe Bonamassa Signature wah can be powered by a 9V battery, the optional Dunlop ECB003 AC adapter, or the Dunlop DC Brick power supply. You have direct access to the battery for quick and easy changes via the convenient battery lid.
