General
The Yamaha STJ Personal Studio allows you to capture the sound of a pickup mute (damper) and play it back in different ways. It uses a technology to model the resonance of the material to distort the sound of the muted instrument to sound natural again. A player mode takes into account the player's position to send a nice sound back through the earbuds. Audience mode, on the other hand, takes the audience into account. You have control over the reverb, allowing you to recreate environments from a small room to a large hall. If you connect it to a computer, you can even record your session. After using it once, you won't be able to live without it!
