Rode's RØDELink Filmmaker Kit (lavalier) is a wireless lavalier system for camera use. This 2.4GHz set by renowned Rode consists of a receiver, transmitter and lavalier, and it offers quality as well as user-friendliness. Only a few simple actions are required to make the set user-ready: connect the microphone to the transmitter, the camera to the receiver (with the accessory cable) and provide both with two AA batteries. One press of the Link button sets the system to finding an available frequency. You'll be able to record video for up to ten hours with high-quality wireless audio.

RØDELink Filmmaker Kit Lavalier: optimal digital transfers

The RØDELink Filmmaker Kit can be used legally all over the world, thanks to the use of the increasingly more popular 2.4GHz frequency band. It allows for a range of 100 metres. Do you want to use multiple RØDELink sets at the same time? No problem! You can pick one of eight frequencies, so that eight systems can operate simultaneously. The Diversity Principle ensures that the system transmits on two different frequencies simultaneously, so that the most powerful frequency can be used, for optimal digital transfers.

Transmitter and receiver

The RX-CAM receiver and TX-BELT transmitter (to which you can connect the high-quality Røde Lavalier) are both compact and reliable, and easy to fasten. Place the RX-CAM on the shoe of your video camera or DSLR camera, mount it on a stand with its 3/8-inch screw thread or clip it to your belt. The TX-BELT also features a clothing clip, of course. A clear OLED screen on the receiver displays volume, battery status of transmitter and receiver and the selected channel. Furthermore, the transmitter and receiver feature three-level gain controls.
