If you are looking for an affordable but highly reliable beltpack transmitter, the Shure BLX-1 is a prime example. This transmitter is light and compact, but very sturdy and tested by Shure for durability. The transmitter has the well-known (Shure) TA4F connector, which allows numerous microphones to be used. The range is up to 90 metres to the receiver. A clear on/off button and gain control are provided.
