General

The Tascam DA-6400 universal backup solution allows you to record a maximum of 64 tracks or channels from a DAW at 48 Khz / 24-bit and 32 channels or tracks at 96 Khz / 24-bit. It can also be used with other interface boards, including MADI, DANTE, Digilink, AVB or AES/EBU, to integrate into other environments seamlessly. Tascam has plans to update this unit regularly in an effort to accommodate the user's demands and continuously improve on new systems and interfaces.

DA-6400: Fast, dynamic and dependable

The DA-6400 consists of a reliable and speedy SSD storage disk, as well as an operating system that runs in real time for optimal dynamics and response. The operating system starts quickly and its controls are intuitive and responsive. Furthermore, it offers stability when recording sources that have high sample rates and take up a lot of data storage. Files are saved about every twenty seconds while recording, which means data-loss due to a power outage, for example, is kept to a minimum.

Ideal mobile backup solution

The lightweight DA-6400 weighs just under 8 pounds (17.6 kg), making it an attractive machine for those who consider mobility a priority, and ideal for transporting to and from diverse locations. For example, the DA-6400 can easily be used in a practise room for rehearsal, then packed up and set up again for the sound check before a live performance. In addition to its dependability, this is a great alternative for the heavier 19-inch units that are often used in studios.

Tascam Launches the DA-6400DP, Individual MADI Cards and Drive Bay

Tascam is known for its high-quality audio and studio recording solutions. This time, Tascam proudly presents the DA-6400DP, the DA-6400, and two MADI cards, the IF-MA64/EX and the more affordable IF-MA64/BN. Tascam also offers the AK-CC25 SSD storage case as a separate item as well. Normally, these are included with every purchase of a DA-6400(DP), but are also available separately in case your current case needs replacing, or if you need an extra drive bay.
