Add the Meris 500S 440 MIC PRE module to your 500 series rack and gain immediate access to the pure American 'console tone' that can be heard on countless popular records from the 1970s, including Van Halen's 'Fair Warning', The Beach Boys' 'Pet Sounds' and the Rolling Stones' 'Exile on Main Street'. This compact microphone preamp is perfect for electric guitarists and bassists and has been equipped with two transformers - a dedicated input transformer and a Cinemag output transformer - plus a pack of discrete op-amps that guarantee one-to-one console sound conversion. Short signal paths, tuned filters and a custom pedal FX loop also help guarantee superior sound no matter what.
