General

The jumbo-bodied Guild B-240E Natural Westerly electro-acoustic bass boasts the round and vintage, double-bass-style sound of a fretless design. Even if you're not familiar with fretless basses, you're offered the full guidance of maple-inlay fret markers and mother-of-pearl dots lining the pau ferro fretboard. The natural fretless sound is emphasised by the sonic depth and increased sustain of a solid Sitka spruce soundboard and arched mahogany back - which also gives the acoustic volume an outspoken boost. Fitted with a Fishman Sonitone BT-1 preamp complete with tone and volume controls, this stage-ready bass sounds just as good plugged into an amplifier or PA system.

Fantastic Acoustic Bass. Big sound acoustically and nice and warm amped up! The Satin finish has a really nice feel. The action was good out of the box. I play Fretted Basses and Double Bass. This was my first fretless acoustic Bass.
