The Ovation B778TX-5-G is a bass you'll want to take with you wherever you go. Whether you play unplugged or blast through the amp, it feels like an electric bass, but with the natural sound of an acoustic instrument. Thanks to this Elite TX's comfortable roundback body with cutaway, and smooth neck, you can play low grooves as well as funky fills effortlessly, without compromising on tone or flexibility. The solid spruce top gives every note a bright, resonant tone that immediately stands out. And the round Lyrachord back makes your instrument resistant to weather and temperature changes.

What really completes this finely playable Ovation bass is the electronics. The OCP-1K pickup and OP-Pro preamp give you everything you need at your fingertips. So you get a 3-way EQ with controls to fine-tune your sound exactly the way you want and quickly use the built-in tuner before playing, to really get in tune. True flexibility, easy to play and with signature Ovation sound holes, the Ovation B778TX-5-G is a versatile bass ready to take anywhere, from the garden to the stage!
