This Westerly Collection model features an all-solid African mahogany body for a characteristically rich steel-string sound with prominent lows and satiating sustain.

The Guild D-120: All-Round, Solid and Fast

As a capable all-rounder, the D-120 is a great guitar for acoustic bands and can be used either as a lead or backing instrument. The satin-gloss lacquered C-neck and flat 16-inch fretboard radius allow for swift solos and fast playing styles, while a 1.75-inch bone string nut was installed to give the guitar that typical Guild feel. Finished with a handful of special features, the D-120 Natural Westerly has a beautiful black body binding, a black/white purfling inlaid into the top, and a mother-of-pearl 'Chesterfield' emblem on the headstock.

The Guild Westerly Collection

Guild have been building high-quality instruments since 1953, and their acoustic guitars hark back to earlier, vintage models. Each of the steel-string guitars in the Westerly series have been built using solid woods before being equipped with a number of refined and more luxurious details. The headstock of every model is then adorned with the traditional pearloid inlay Guild emblem and the top is finished with a faux-tortoiseshell pickguard. The Westerly series offers expensive acoustic sound at a surprisingly affordable price, and each guitar comes with a form-fitting Guild Polyfoam case.

Wrote the following about Guild D-120 Natural Westerly Acoustic Guitar

Was looking for a solid all mahogany dreadnought to compliment my Faith Venus Hi Gloss. I wanted a darker deeper more powerful tone. I narrowed my search down to four/five guitars and eventually chose the Guild. It exceeds all expectations, the tone is awesome, the sustain is forever, it’s comfortable to play and it looks good. To say I’m pleased with it is a total understatement. I’m no expert but the build quality looks to be as good as my Faith. The D 120 is a total bargain. I tried guitars three times as expensive from other US companies, they do sound “better” and they come with hard cases. However they are not two/three times better. Astonishing value for money.
