General

The DAP NRG-12A is a powerful active fullrange speaker with a 12-inch woofer and a 1-inch compression driver that together deliver a peak power output of 360 watts. The internal Class D amplifier ensures efficient performance, while the built-in DSP with four modes - Contour, Flat, Speech and +Sub - allows you to adjust the sound reproduction to your preferences. Thanks to Bluetooth 5.0 and True Wireless Stereo (TWS), you can easily play music wirelessly with your phone or laptop, while the combination of XLR combo jacks for microphones and line signals offers maximum flexibility. The internal crossover ensures a seamless transition between the woofer and compression driver, resulting in clear, balanced sound reproduction.

Optimal Control and Versatility

With a frequency range of 60 to 20,000 Hz and a maximum SPL of 117 dB at 1 metre, this speaker provides full, rich sounds ideal for music, speech and live performances. The sturdy plywood cabinet includes a double speaker flange, allowing you to aim the speaker downwards for a focused sound projection. Separate gain controls and a master volume ensure precise control over your sound, while the 'Mix out' output makes it easy to connect a second speaker or subwoofer. To realise the full potential of the NRG-12A, combine it best with an NRG Series subwoofer for an impressive, powerful sound setup.
