Looking for more power, more versatility and more in-depth control? Then you can't go wrong with a DAS Altea 7 Series active PA speaker like the 750-Watt-strong Altea-712A. This DSP-driven unit has been armed with a 12" FC12 woofer and an M-34 compression driver that, combined, span a 50 to 20,000 Hertz frequency range for rich, detailed and dynamic sound that does justice to live music as well as speech.

Advanced Functions & Smooth Control

The Altea-712A features the DAScontrol™ DSP system, which can be steered via the LCD display fitted round the back, where you can quickly select one of the five voicing presets (Live, Dance, Vocals, Bass Boost and Monitor) before fine-tuning the output via 3-band EQ controls for the optimum sonic balance. The built-in class-D amplifier module has an SMPS (Switch Mode Power Supply) and guarantees the high efficiency and low distortion needed for clean-and-consistent performance.

Setting Up

The DAS Audio Altea-712A also offers flexible mounting options. The trapezoid polypropylene housing can be installed vertically or horizontally, supporting PA systems as well as monitor set-ups, with the various M8 rigging points offering plenty of flexibility. As far as the connectors go, you're kitted out with two XLR inputs, a mini-jack AUX input and an XLR loop-thru port.
