The Opera 715 DX belongs to the dB Technologies Opera DX line. For more than a decade, the Opera series has been a success story, and now they've added a new chapter with the DX 700 series. Once again, dB Technologies has developed and produced a high-quality product for a good price. With the 15-inch woofer and 1-inch driver, you get great sound quality from this speaker, making the 715 DX an excellent choice for performances in clubs or as a monitor for larger stages. For a grander experience, you could always add a subwoofer such as the Sub 18D by dB Technologies to really get those rich low frequencies.

The contents of the Opera 715 DX

Along with a 1-inch driver and a 15-inch woofer, the Opera 715 DX also features a 700W Digipro G2 digital amplifier. The dispersion of the 715 DX amounts to 80/65 x 60 degrees, and comes out of an asymmetrical CD horn. In this way, high frequencies are broadly projected at short distances, and they can also carry out farther. Furthermore, the frequency response ranges from 49 to 20,000 Hz at -10 dB, and the maximum sound pressure that the 715 DX can produce is 129 dB (SPL). The 715 DX is also equipped with an XLR and a 6.3mm signal input and output.

This black speaker is made of polypropylene, which is a synthetic material that is less susceptible to scratches, so you can be assured that the Opera 715 DX won't be easily damaged. Also, because polypropylene is a light material, the 715 DX is also light, weighing in at only 34 lbs (15.4 kg). Finally, you can make use of the built-in 35mm stand adapter to easily mount the speaker on a stand.
