General

The PRX712 is a highly versatile full-range speaker that's equipped with 1,500 watts of built-in amplification which is great for the spacious headroom in many PA setups. Thanks to the internal DSP, the signal comes out of the PRX712 as sharp as a tack. Additionally, the PRX712 has a multi-functional housing - thanks to the slanted sides it is also the perfect floor monitor. The speaker's light weight make it easy to move and the scratch-proof Duraflex lacquer keeps it looking sharp - great features for professional use.

Features of the PRX712

This PRX model is a 2-way speaker equipped with a 12-inch woofer for a pounding bass and a 1.5-inch tweeter for clear trebles without annoying distortion. Thanks to the chosen materials (neodymium magnets, lightweight DCD chassis) this JBL product has excellent tonal properties for its size and weight. A maximum SPL of 136 dB is also nothing to be ashamed of! The rear panel is home to all the essential connectors such as EQ boost, ground lift and two-channel inputs for XLR, jack and RCA plugs. You can fly the speaker from fly hooks that you can attach to the 12 mounting point or on a distance rod or speaker stand, for instance.

Wrote the following about JBL PRX712 active speaker

4 van deze speaker's gekocht en zeer tevreden hier over. Ze zijn licht in gewicht en makkelijk handelbaar. Qua klank een zeer goede speaker zeker als je ze in combinatie zet met de 18 inch subkasten. Ze klinken heel natuurlijk en worden niet agressief als je wat hoger in volume gaat.
als monitor perfect te gebruiken in de "wedge" stand.
Ook handig is de dubbele "pole mount" je kan de speaker gewoon recht plaatsen of onder hoek om de eerste rijen makkelijker te bereiken.
De rca ingang is misschien wel niet van de beste kwaliteit, maar dit wordt toch maar zeer sporadisch gebruikt.
