The JBL PRX735 from their PRX 700 series is an active 3-way speaker with a power of 1,500 watts and a maximum SPL of 136 dB. In addition to the standard 1.5-inch tweeter and 15-inch woofer, the PRX735 is equipped with a 6.5-inch horn-mounted mid-tone driver, making it an excellent stand-alone speaker for very clear speech and singing amplification. Thanks to its highly accurate projection this speaker is great for 'acoustically challenged' rooms. Thanks to the ultra-rugged Duraflex finish and incredibly sturdy construction of 25 and 18-millimetre poplar, stacking this speaker in the back of a band van is nothing to be afraid of.

PRX735: a high-quality lightweight speaker

The built-in bi-amp amplifier of this high-quality, relatively lightweight speaker is equipped with DSP for an optimal frequency response. What's more, the built-in equalizer allows you to boost the sound in a way of your choosing. A special feature in this series is the combination of JBL's patented Differential Drive Technology with ferrite speakers - resulting in a speaker that is lighter with maximum amplifier efficiency. The PRX735 features XLR, jack, RCA as well as XLR through connectors. It makes for a perfect combination with the PRX718XLF subwoofer for a bit of extra bass.
