In its third reincarnation, Mackie's sturdy, all-purpose SRM series is more powerful than ever. The SRM 450 V3 offers the best of both worlds: it weighs under 17 kilos, but is quite sturdy and durable thanks to its high-grade polypropylene housing and metal grill with weather-resistant coating. The speaker's 12-inch woofer and 1.4-inch compression driver are powered with 400 and 100 watts RMS respectively, and have a combined peak power of 1,000 watts. Zeer mooi geluid. Mooi geleverd zonder problemen. Alleen jammer dat er een licht ruis/ piep uit komt als de speakers gewoon aanstaan. Dit zou zijn door een slechte aarding en dus niet bij iedereen voorkomen.
Voor de rest een TOP speaker. De bas die er uit komt is ook prachtig.
Let wel op de prijs verschilt regelmatig met de aantal keren dat je deze opzoekt.

Prima speakers voor het budget. Gaat behoorlijk hard. Met 2 topjes en 2 18 inch subs (van mindere kwaliteit geef ik toe, ik gebruik nog de behringer subjes) kun je toch makkelijk 150 man aan in een middelgrote zaal. Speakers hebben wel een mooie functie voor gebruik zonder sub, waardoor ze heel goed alleen inzetbaar zijn als het niet standje feest hoeft te zijn. Door de lichte brom die er in zit geef ik toch 4 sterren. Bromt behoorlijk ook groot volume, maar met muziek erdoor heb je nergens last vind.
Persoonlijk zou ik voor dit budget toch eerder richting de DB technologies serie kijken.
