General

The DAP NRG-18SA is a powerful active subwoofer with a peak power output of 1000 watts (500 watts continuous RMS). The 18-inch woofer with a dual 3-inch voice coil delivers deep bass up to 45 Hz. Its power output allows it to comfortably produce up to 122 dB. With an internal DSP and four convenient modes, it can be seamlessly integrated with NRG fullrange speakers and features an adjustable crossover frequency. The Class D amplifier with switching power supply keeps weight down and efficiency up. Moreover, the internal DSP protects against overload, short circuit and overheating.

Robust, lightweight

The robust, lightweight 33.3 kg plywood enclosure features an M20 screw thread for attaching a speaker intermediate pole. Two XLR combo jacks receive the audio signal, which is looped through to two XLR outputs for driving an additional subwoofer or fullrange speaker. LED indicators always show DSP mode, protection and signal. To get the most out of the NRG-18SA, it is recommended to combine it with a fullrange speaker from the NRG series.
