Following the success of the silver Palladium Vintage series amplifiers, DAP Audio decided to release the same series in black. This P-500 from the Black Series Palladium is a powerful class AB stereo PA amplifier with an excellent price/quality ratio. It delivers a power of 2x 180 watts at 8 ohms and 2x 270 watts at 4 ohms. In a bridged capacity, it provides an impressive 540 watts at 8 ohms. This is more than enough for smaller satellite speakers in clubs or mobile PA systems.
P-500 Black Series: built-in security and versatile connectors
The DAP Audio P-500 is provided with built-in safeties, so that you can transfer all its power to your speakers in a safe and reliable way. The unit is equipped with a protection against overloading, a clip limiter and a safety that prevents overheating and short-circuiting. Thanks to the extensive array of connectors, you can connect nearly any sound source or speaker. Both channels of the P-500 are provided with an XLR and a TRS jack input. The outputs per channel consists of a lockable speaker connector and a number of traditional wire clamps.
