Even though the first XTi series was a great success, Crown figured it could do with an upgrade and issued the XTi2. The XTi2 series is even better thanks to modern additions!

Powerful amplification in a compact housing

Like their predecessors, the amps from the XTi2 series are only 2 U high. As it weighs only 8 kilos, the XTi 1002 is a proper lightweight, and yet it is capable of producing a massive 700 Watts (at 2 Ohms) per side!

More than just an amplifier

However, the Crown XTi is more than just an amplifier, as it also features a built-in processor that allows you to use an equalizer, crossover, delay, peak limiter and numerous presets. This way, you gain optimal control over your entire setup without too much auxiliary equipment!

Crown XTi 1002 amplifier

Goede versterker.
Heb er zelf 2 in de verhuur zitten.
Ideale versterker voor in de verhuur.
Limiters in stellen, display vergrendelen en geen klant die mijn luidsprekers kapot krijgt. Ideaal.

Ook omdat er een PWM/hoogfrequent voeding inzit scheelt het enorm in het gewicht.
Bij mij hangen er 2 stuks 100 volt transformatoren van 450Watt achter (25 kg p/s), dus iedere kilo extra is niet handig.

Binnenkort komt ook in mijn 3de 100voltrack deze versterker te zitten.

Crown XTi 1002 amplifier

Versterker is snel geleverd!! maar helaas maakt deze versterker qua vermogen totaal niet waar dan dat je er van mag verwachten, op 4 ohm mag je blij zijn als je er 40 tot 50w per kanaal eruit krijgt ( zou ongeveer 250 tot 300w moeten zijn ).
Verder werkt de procesoor als een zonnetje, en is het geluid goed!
