With the MGP Series, Yamaha has brought out a group of mixers to close the gap between analogue and digital. These fusion mixers have all the basics of an analogue unit but fitted with two digital effects sections and digital I/O USB ports. They also feature high-end class-A preamps modelled after authentic analogue circuits for a warmer, more authentic sound.

Digital Build, Analogue Sound

The MGP24X by Yamaha is a 24-channel PA mixer, and each channel is equipped with a 1-knob compressor for adjusting the sound source. The X-Pressive EQs reproduce the unique frequency characteristics of legendary equalizers so that this mixer produces a reliable sound. The easy-to-reach USB port on the top functions as a digital I/O, and you can use it to connect an external USB drive for recording the stereo mix. There's also an additional USB port specially equipped for your IOS device that you can use to stream real-time audio, adjust settings and change effects, and you can still use your device while it's uploading!
