Since the middle of the '90s, the Allen & Heath MixWizard series has been an industry standard, thanks to its great audio quality, versatility and durability. The MixWizard series is used by rental companies, live stages, radio stations and audio studios, all over the world. So much so, that a fourth generation has now been released! Allen & Heath know what their customers want, which is why they've kept all the popular properties of the older versions, and improved the design and functions of the series.

MixWizard WZ4 16:2

This user-friendly, high-quality mixer features 16 high-grade microphone/line inputs, with an insert and direct output per channel. Like every mixer from the MixWizard series, it has a four-part equalizer with two sweep mids, a twelve-part LED indicator, 100mm faders, 6 AUX sends, and the unique QCC connector panel. This panel can easily be tilted to make the MixWizard WZ4 16:2 fit for use in landscape orientation or mounting in a rack or flight case. The rack ears that are used for rack mounting are kept out of sight by the synthetic side panels.

New Functions of the Fourth Generation

An important addition is the optionally installable USB interface with 16-channel sound card. It allows you to easily create multi-track recordings with the MixWizard WZ4 16:2 and play back two tracks in stereo. Another new feature is an EQ on/off switch per channel, which is perfect if you want to amplify sound sources that have already been edited (like synthesizers). Finally, this 16-channel version of the MixWizard is equipped with two effects sections that have been completely redesigned by the same team that brought you the renowned effects sections of the iLive series. You can choose from 20 carefully selected, studio-quality presets that can be adjusted via tap tempo and a knob for the adjusting of parameters.
