General
Allen & Heath cannot help but develop great mixers, like this ZED-12FX. It features 6 mono and 3 dual stereo channels. The FX section of the mixer can be divided up into 4 different types: tap tempo delays, short reverbs, long reverbs and modulation. Operating and setting up these effects is done via three simple controls.
The ZED-12FX is fitted with 100mm faders, a 3-band swept-mid equalizer, 4 aux sends, and a USB send and return. Thanks its extensive monitoring functions, the ZED FX series features models with extensive options and a great price/quality ratio.

Afgelopen week de Allen&Heath ZED 12 FX mixer besteld, de volgende dag al in huis. Super-service zoals altijd bij Bax-shop!
De mixer doet het voor de prijs meer dan voortreffelijk. Alle knoppen en faders voelen stevig aan. Qua geluidskwaliteit is het ook een meer dan prima apparaat. Hiervoor hadden wij een Phonic tafel in dezelfde prijscategorie, maar deze tafel produceert een veel beter en voller geluid.
Al met al veel waar voor je geld!

Ik heb het mengpaneel nu al n aantal jaren ,en ben er super tevreden mee.
Ik zou weer een A&H kopen als deze aan vervaning toe is.
Maar deze gaat nog wel 'n tijdje mee want de knoppen werken allemaal nog prima, en in al die jaren is er nog niks stuk geweest
Prijs kwaliteit is toppie!!!!!.
Dus al met al 'n top apparaat 'n echte aanrader.

Levering verliep correct volgens afspraak.
Interne effecten vrij goed (als je vergelijkt met de meeste interne effectenmodules in mixers).
Equalizing en preamps zijn vergelijkbaar zoals ze in de meeste mixers klinken in die prijsklasse, op zich niets mis mee, maar ze klinken natuurlijk niet zoals de duurdere A&H mixers, zoals de DX versies etc, wat ergens wel logisch is natuurlijk.
De bouwkwaliteit van de mixer lijkt me wel vrij robuust te zijn, de potentiometers zijn op chassis gevezen, dus vervangbaar, wanneer er ooit één defect moest gaan.
De faders zijn heel erg soepel handelbaar, ze voelen erg licht aan.
Over het algemeen tevreden met het product, maar voor de overal sound ga ik vermoedelijk toch nog een 2 x 15 bands equalizer aanschaffen, om de sound nog wat extra naar mijn eigen smaak te fine tunen.

Afgelopen week de Zed 12FX besteld bij BAX en de volgende dag in huis, super geregeld!!
Aangesloten op m'n P.A. helemaal goed, zeer blij met de sound die het doorgeeft. En het is een zeer mooi en overzichtelijk te bedienen apparaat, echt Allen&Heath.
Zoek je een compacte goede mixer, dan raad ik deze aan.
