Are you looking for a portable, extensive mixer with a lot of channels? Look no further, and just feast your eyes on the Allen & Heath ZED-16FX! This USB mixer features ten mono and three stereo channels, and uses Allen & Heath's successful DuoPre preamps with two-way gain design that counters noise. Each channel is equipped with a highly responsive MusiQ three-band equalizer, four AUX sends and a 100mm ALPS fader. Furthermore, the ZED-16FX's compact 19-inch housing, which weighs under 9 kilos, houses built-in, studio-quality effects, USB connectivity and an extensive monitoring section.
ZED-16FX: USB Mixer with Integrated Effects Processor
A mixer with a USB connector for recording and playback on your computer is quite a common sight these days. What makes the USB port on the ZED-16FX so special, is that you can run a Send and Return via your computer - the USB port is turned into an effects loop, while you can use your computer as an external effects processor. Alternatively, you can use the built-in quality 24-bit ZED-FX effects. A range of 16 effects is available, consisting of delays, reverbs, a flanger and a chorus. Three rotary knobs allow you to adjust the parameters, while Tap Tempo can be used to adjust the rhythm of the music.

Fijne mixer! Eigenlijk heel logisch ingedeeld qua routing etc. De FX effecten zijn basic, maar goed te gebruiken voor je mix. Wat ik persoonlijk wel mis is een control room output voor je monitor speakers voor studio gebruik en de record output (gebruik een digitale recorder had van mij wel een regel knop mogen hebben. Nu gaat de record output via de ALT output. Bij gebruik van de Record output komt het signaal te hard de recorder binnen. Via USB/PC opnemen is ook mogelijk, maar nog niet geprobeerd. In feite is het wat meer een PA mixer/life stage mixer dan een studiomixer, Maar dit mag de pret niet drukken. Het geluid is echt top, ruisvrij en lekker solid! Kost wat, maar nog geen seconde spijt gehad van deze aankoop. Bax Shop ook bedankt! Fijn nog een feedback mail na met tips en tricks om het beste uit je net aangeschafte apparatuur te halen. Top!

Top sound voor een zeer goede prijs, heel overzichtelijk en ergonomisch mengpaneel. Je kan er in het donker nog mee goed mee werken. Super solide en veel mogelijkheden voor verschillende toepassingen. Ik gebruik hem voor studio en voor live set ups.

Heb hem 3 jaar geleden aangekocht bij Bax en word heel intensief gebruikt. Het is mijn éérste mixer dus over de routings van externe effecten en het gebruik als soundcard heb ik wel even mijn hersens gepijnigd
ééns dit onder de knie heb ik absoluut nog geen negatieve ervaringen met deze mixer ondervonden . De effecten aan boord zijn simpel maar bruikbaar , de eq is schitterend , de lange faders zijn zeer practisch enz. voor een mixer in deze prijsklasse is hij echt toppie

Sinds kort is deze mixer in mijn bezit. Tot nu toe zeer fijne mixer met handige features. Ideaal dat je via de usb poort muziek naar je mixer kan streamen en dan ook nog is kunt doorpatchen naar de schuif! Effecten zijn eerlijk maar een extern effect klinkt wel heel anders maar dat is meestal met de interne effecten.
Verder voeld hij heel degelijk aan. Heel fijn zijn ook de lange faders waardoor je veel meer gevoel en "ruimte" hebt tijdens het schuiven. Kortom een prima tafel die ook nog is netjes in een 19inch rack past!
