Allen & Heath's MixWizard series has already reached its 4th generation! These popular mixers are used around the globe wherever compact size and high-quality audio is a must. While developing this new generation of mixers, Allen & Heath paid close attention to the desires of their users to enhance functionality while maintaining a streamlined layout, durability, and high-quality components.

This little powerhouse features eight, high-quality microphone/line inputs with an insert and direct output per channel. What's more, it has two dual stereo channels that have a separate gain per input as well as an on/off switch. This enables you to select the inputs separately or mix them together. The stereo inputs are perfect for playing music or connecting another stereo source, like a keyboard. Just like any mixer from the MixWizard series, the 12:2 has a 4-part equalizer with two sweep mids, a 12-part LED indicator, 100mm faders, six aux sends and the unique QCC connection panel that you can tilt when using it horizontally in a rack or flight case.

What's New in the Fourth Generation?

An important addition to this mixer is the option to install a 16-channel, USB interface, expanding the desk so that multi-track recordings can be made with the MixWizard WZ4 12:2 and two tracks can be played back in stereo! Another addition is the EQ on/off switch per channel, for when you need to amplify the audio sources that have already been edited, like with synthesizers. This 12-channel MixWizard has two effects sections that have been completely redesigned by the same team that developed the iLive series effects section. Choose between 20 carefully-selected studio-quality presets and adjust them manually using the tap tempo and the parameter controls.
