General

A valve driven amplifier needs to be pushed to the edge to hit that rich, saturated sound. This also means ear-splitting volume. The Palmer PDI06 MKII Power Pad 16 Ohm attenuator give you all the richness, at a more sociable level. This helpful little box means you can completely open up your tube amp, engage the preamp tubes, power amp tubes and light up the transformers, while trusting the six-step power soak to manage the volume that actually comes out of the speaker - reducing it by up to 70% - while your sound reaps the tonal benefits. A 16 Ohm speaker cabinet can be hooked up to the single output, and the PDI06 can be used as a loadbox during recording sessions. By teaming it up with a speaker simulator, you could even send your signal directly to a DAW or mixing desk.
