General
Whether you're running an offshore radio station or a more legal operation, professional software such as D&R's Aircast-6-STD radio automation software is essential, especially if you're using a D&R Airlite mixer. Aircast not only helps you run the show by organising your playlist, but sets you up with a built-in media player that's specifically developed for radio, which means it includes features such as file-logging, scripting, cartwall, voice-tracking and more. What's also great is that you don't need a high-end computer to meet the minimum system requirements. D&R Aircast-6-STD is compatible with external music databases and, with a valid licence, can be accessed on an external PC. This premium playlist software naturally offers seamless integration with D&R's Airlite mixers and supports pro-grade functions such as fader-start, where sliding a fader up is all it takes to trigger a tune.
