The realistic sound and feel; slim and lightweight design of the Roland FP-60X digital piano is built for powerful performance on stage, in the studio, and in the classroom, as well as in the living room. This comfortably portable Roland model boasts a hair-raisingly good integrated sound system, packed inside a sleek and streamlined housing finished with the genuine acoustic feel of the full-sized PHA-4 88-note keyboard. The sound is generated by a SuperNATURAL sound engine able to precisely mimic the sound of acoustic hammers, body resonance and string vibration to create a superbly convincing, expressive and dynamic playing experience.

The Roland FP-60X Digital Piano

For in depth sound customisation, Roland provide the help of a built-in Piano Designer, and this is on top of the generous stack of carefully selected sounds you already get, leaving the potential variations wide open. USB and MIDI audio ports are fitted for eased recording to software and communication with virtual instruments, and Bluetooth audio and MIDI connectivity eases the process even further, so that various apps, plug-ins and libraries can be toggled, edited, and browsed; MIDI communication can be established; and audio can be simply streamed and played over the built-in speakers, all cable-free.

Breathtaking Sound & My Stage Functionality

The already widely renowned, Roland-developed SuperNATURAL Sound-Engine delivers profoundly convincing sound and is fully supported by the realistically expressive PHA-4 key response and the rich and spacious audio shaped by a set of two integrated 13 Watt speakers. Even when a pair of headphones are connected, the sound is just as vast and detailed thanks to the specially developed 3D Ambience headphone output. Pushing this experience even further, is the breathtaking My Stage function, which couples the selected sound and available effects to simulate specific spaces; suddenly placing you and your piano anywhere from an intimate recording studio, to an enormous, atmosphere-packed concert hall.

Wrote the following about Roland FP-60X Digital Piano (Black)

Onlangs verwelkomde ik de Roland FP-60X in mijn muzikale wereld, en het is niets minder dan een game-changer. Vanaf het moment dat ik mijn vingers op de ivoren-look toetsen legde, was ik gefascineerd door het authentieke gevoel van de toetsen, te danken aan de zogenaamde PHA-4 technologie. Het is alsof je op een high-end akoestische piano speelt, maar dan met de extra veelzijdigheid van een digitaal meesterwerk.

Wat de FP-60X echt onderscheidt is de SuperNATURAL Piano Modeling technologie. Het geluid is adembenemend en repliceert de genuanceerde tonen van een akoestische piano met zo'n precisie dat ik vaak vergeet dat het een digitaal instrument is. Het dynamische bereik is uitzonderlijk, waardoor ik mijn muzikale expressie in elke noot kan leggen, of ik nu klassieke stukken aanpak of me in hedendaagse pop-composities stort.

De geluiden aan boord zijn een schat aan muzikale mogelijkheden. Van realistische elektrische piano's die me meevoeren naar een jazzclub tot strijkers en koperblazers die een filmische flair aan mijn pianospel toevoegen, de FP-60X past zich moeiteloos aan mijn muzikale smaak aan.
