General

The Cordoba GK Pro is a high-quality electro-acoustic guitar built to handle any situation. Equipped with solid spruce soundboard, a solid rosewood body and a mahogany neck, this Negra-edition produces a slightly richer rendition of that classic, bright flamenco sound. Also, the neck has been granted a C-profile, which makes sure it feels more snug in your left hand and not as unmanageable as comparable nylon-stringed guitars. This premium Spanish guitar is part of its maker's Luthier Series and comes complete with a Cordoba Deluxe Humidified Archtop Wood Case as standard.

The GK Pro Negra: Traditional Playability Enhanced with Maximum Comfort

Thanks to the 50mm nut and traditionally wide string spacing, the GK Pro Negra allows you to hone any traditional playing techniques in maximum comfort. Meanwhile, the pro-grade construction ensures the stability needed to shape rich, beautifully sustained notes, which are captured by an undersaddle piezo pickup and a tiny microphone teamed up with a Fishman PreFix ProBlend preamp. After plugging the guitar into an acoustic amp, the notch, frequency, bass, contour and treble pots can be twisted to dial in your new signature sound.

Cordoba GK Pro Negra Electro-Acoustic Classical Guitar with Case. Absolutely thrilled with this guitar. I already owned the gk pro Blanca model but had always dreamed of owning this one too for the more solemn bossier tones this model gives. It’s absolutely gorgeous and bax have ensured I received a pristine model Thanks are owed. Delivered quickly and packaged fantastically despite the inclement weather at the time of purchase. What can I say? This is simply the best guitar that I've ever owned. Yes, it was a bit of an extravagant treat but the look and feel is exceptional and the build quality is to the highest standard. The sound is magical. It's perfect for flamenco and rumba gitana and the compás sounds surprisingly bassy considering how slender the body is. BAX were brilliant. I placed the order on a Monday and by mid-Wednesday I was playing the guitar!

Vervolg op de eerdere review na een tijd spelen en een retour van de case.

De gitaar ontwikkeld inderdaad snel qua toon. Mooie sustainability en klank. Bovendien echt goed te versterken.
Dit is ook wel de verwachting bij goede kwaliteit klankhout voor het bovenblad.
Ik heb de koffer/case retour gezonden omdat die veel te zwaar was - ik heb een softcase gekocht hiervoor in de plaats -, dit bleek voor veel verwarring te zorgen bij de retour-afdeling: ik werd gebeld 'of ik de gitaar niet was vergeten mee te zenden, er is alleen een koffer.'
De terugbetaling voor de koffer is momenteel nog niet afgerond helaas, de nieuwprijs is in de shop E 235,- en men heeft nu E 54,79 gecrediteerd. Moeilijk allemaal waarschijnlijk, maar het komt vast goed.

BELANGRIJK. Dit is een B-stock en de foto's zagen er prima uit. Ik heb de gitaar ook in goede orde ontvangen en alles lijkt/leek in orde. Tot ik in podiumlicht plotseling haarscheurtjes in de lak zag daar waar de kop aan de nek zit! Ik schrok me wezenloos eerlijk gezegd. De gitaar heeft kennelijk een val gemaakt, maar niet bij mij. Daags daarna heb ik ik onder fel lamplicht de scheurtjes bekeken en volgens mij is er geen hout gescheurd, maar alleen de lak. Toch is het een potentieel risico misschien. Ook kan het niets te betekenen hebben en voor altijd goed gaan.

Mijn probleem is dat ik niet kan bewijzen dat de gitaar niet is gevallen terwijl hij in mijn bezit was. Hij is niet gevallen maar de haarscheurtjes zijn een feit. Dit heeft mij doen inzien dat een B-stock misschien toch niet ideaal is, al is het iets goedkoper...
Maar dit zou kunnen gelden voor ALLE online gekochte instrumenten: zolang je niet in de winkel al een probleem hebt ontdekt dan kan je nooit meer bewijzen dat er al iets fout was.
Dit geeft te denken. Voortaan altijd naar een winkel gaan!
Toch zal de online verkoop van topinstrumenten gewoon door gaan. Het is een dilemma voor de muzikant en voor de winkelier.

Mooie kwaliteit hout en afwerking. Het hout kan nog ontwikkelen door te spelen. Nieuw klinkt de gitaar (nog) wat ‘boxed in’. Dit is geen puur akoestisch instrument: smallere kast en cutaway zullen dus nooit een concertgitaar opleveren in akoestische zin. Wel is deze mooie klassieke klank goed te versterken door het professionele Fishman element met microfoon. Geen vijf sterren omdat de bijgeleverde koffer overdreven zwaar is. De prijs van deze set had €250,- lager gekund of geleverd moeten zijn met een travel softcase van goede makelij Het lijkt nu alsof Cordoba zijn gitaarcase kwijt moet via deze gitaar package deal. Maar goed, koffer in de hoek zetten tot er een verhuizing ofzo aanstaande is en verder een pro hoes of soft case met minimaal 20 mm schuim.😀
