General

A rather unique bit of kit, the Roland GO:Mixer Pro-X isn't just any mixer-plus-audio interface. Unlike 'traditional' studio gear, this smartphone mixer is designed for mobile producers who want to be able to work anywhere. Since it's part of Roland's third generation of mobile mixers, the brand-new GO:Mixer Pro-X boasts improved audio quality to match the high-quality footage that you can shoot with modern smartphones these days.

The Roland GO:Mixer Pro-X: Always Prepared

Next to a stereo instrument such as a synthesizer, the Roland GO:Mixer Pro-X accommodates plugging in a dynamic or condenser microphone via the fitted XLR/jack port and a guitar or bass into the fitted Hi-Z jack input. In addition, you're free to connect a headset, a smartphone and two mini-jack sources like two tablets. There are encoders at the top of the mixer for adjusting the balance and the whole thing can run off your phone's battery or can be powered by popping in four AAA-batteries. Everyone with a need for the GO:Mixer will no doubt have their reasons so, luckily, the sky's the limit when it comes to putting it to use in any and all situations.
