General

Like all of Sire's electric guitars, the Larry Carlton S5 offers brilliant bang for the buck, but with this model, it's also clear that special attention was paid to the playing comfort. This is evidenced by the fact that the alder body has not only been perfectly balanced but features a deep cutaway to grant unrestricted access to all twenty-two medium-jumbo frets, while the hard maple fretboard has an Edgeless™ design where the edges have been rounded off for an extra-smooth, played-in feel.

The Larry Carlton S5: Broad Spectrum of Vintage Sounds

Sire has outfitted the S5 with a trio of Sire LC Super-V pickups: passive single-coils that bear Larry Carlton's seal of approval and effortlessly whip up a wide range of vintage-style sounds. In addition, you get a modern two-point tremolo bridge so you can augment your riffs and licks with tasty vibratos while the Sire Premium locking tuners keep tabs on the tuning.
