Fender's Rumble Stage 800 is equipped with Mustang GT technology, making it the perfect companion for versatile bassists who demand the same flexibility from their equipment. Classic and contemporary sounds, as well as a good selection of impressive effects, are all at your disposal with this modelling amp. Fitted with two 10-inch Fender Special Design speakers, the cabinet is robust and lightweight, making it much more manageable than many bass guitar amp combos on the market today.

Rumble Stage 800

There are more than 15 different amplifier types and over 40 effects that can be dialed in and tweaked to find just the right sound. The MGT-4 4-button footswitch is included so that you can easily call up presets without having to use your hands and if you're a fan of late night practice sessions and you don't want to fall out with your neighbours, the headphone socket is sure to come in handy. There's an auxiliary input so that you can connect an external sound source and play along with your favourite songs and there's also a USB output that makes it easy to record. Whenever you need even more power, you can use the Switchcraft SpeakOn out connector to add an extra cabinet.

Je cherchais depuis quelques temps un ampli polyvalent pour jouer différents styles de rock (punk, métal, indus, pop, garage, indie,...), suffisamment puissant (400w) pour faire face à mes bucherons préférés MAIS SURTOUT facile à trimballer :
excellente surprise avec ce Rumble 800 !

Tout y est. LE son est là !

J'ai déjà joué sur Ampeg, Trace Elliot, Crate, Hartke, Ashdown, Marshall, Orange, Eden, SWR, Peavey, et d'autres Fender décevants,... chaque marque et modèle ayant ses qualités et ses défauts évidemment, mais pas la polyvalence de ce Rumble.

Certes, ça n'est pas un ampli tout lampe, mais les simulations font parfaitement le job et mon vieux dos ne s'en porte que mieux.

Avec ses 2 sorties PRE et POST sur XLR, il est aussi bien pensé pour le studio que pour la scène ainsi que pour la maison avec le WiFi et le Bluetooth permettant d'y connecter et de diffuser un téléphone ou un ordinateur.
Il est d'ailleurs entièrement pilotable via le téléphone et l'app gratuite dédiée, à distance donc (bien pratique en studio...), à peu près tout est paramétrable si on se plonge dans les menus.

Intuitif à régler, les presets d'usine reprennent des sons de groupes facilement identifiables, et facilement éditables.
Les différents choix d'ampli permettent de couvrir tous les styles dont j'ai besoin.

Des effets, en veux tu en voilà, seulement 4 utilisables en même temps dont 3 au pieds, avec la possibilité de les chainer avant et/ou après ampli. Idéal !
Petit bémol pour certains effets qui sonnent vraiment "numérique", mais là je chipote.

Accordeur précis, prise casque, entrée Aux (pour ceux qui n'ont pas de wifi/bluetooth), switch on/off du tweeter, 2 HP de 10', possibilité de le coupler avec un autre baffle.

Livré avec un footswitch qui a une fonction Looper, un peu difficile à dompter le footswitch... on finit par s'y faire (je n'ai l'ampli que depuis 3 jours seulement).

Ik was het sjouwen met allerlei losse componenten zat en ben op zoek gegaan naar een alternatief welke voldeed aan mijn wensen. Uiteindelijk bij deze deze Rumble Stage 800 terecht gekomen..

1e wens: geen lomp gewicht. De 800 is voor mij eenvoudig in de auto te tillen en zelfs een stuk mee te lopen naar het podium zonder het gebruik van een karretje of plank met wielen. Mijn oude kast (geen Fender) weegt bijna 40 kilo, deze nog niet de helft.

2e wens: ingebouwde modelling unit. Er zitten 100 voorgebakken settings in waarvan ik er waarschijnlijk 90 nooit zal gebruiken, maar ze zijn allemaal eenvoudig aan te passen. Je moet ff doorhebben hoe dit opgebouwd is, maar dan kun je de presets perfect aanpassen aan je eigen wensen. Dit werkt ook heel eenvoudig. Mijn enige kleine minpuntje is het ontbreken van een handleiding, die moet je bij Fender downloaden. De instellingen zijn redelijk snel onder de knie te krijgen maar door de vele mogelijkheden vond ik de handleiding toch handig.

3e wens: voldoende vermogen. Zonder extra kast levert hij 400 watt. Ik kan er in een kleine gelegenheid prima mee uit de voeten. Het is geen enkel probleem om de luidste power drummer te voorzien van een duidelijk hoorbare stuwende ondersteuning. Is de zaal groter dan is het aansluiten van een extra kast (ik gebruik mijn oude 15") voldoende. Dan gaat hij helemaal als de brandweer. Ik vermoed dat bij een extra 4x10" de modelling effecten nog beter klinken, maar die staat nog op mijn verlanglijstje.

4e wens: flexibel. Wat ik een grote meerwaarde vindt van de 800 is de mogelijkheid om beschikbaar gestelde presets van andere bassisten eenvoudig via mijn smartphone en de Fender app toe te voegen. Ik moet toegeven dat ik geen tijd (en geen zin) heb om zelf eindeloos de klooien met de enorme hoeveelheid mogelijkheden die er ingebouwd zijn. Ik heb er zelf een paar toegevoegd en aangepast, die vielen zeker in de smaak bij mijn bandgenoten.

5e wens: Snel kunnen schakelen tussen de verschillende instellingen. In mijn oude set-up gebruik ik een midi pedaal om tijdens een nummer tussen de verschillende instellingen te schakelen. De meegeleverde pedaal heeft uiteraard niet de flexibiliteit van een midi pedaal, maar hij is prima in te stellen zodat je snel tussen een aantal instellingen kunt kiezen.

Ik ben zeer tevreden over deze combo en ik heb mezelf een hoop gesjouw kunnen besparen als ik hem eerder ontdekt had.
