General

As the more extensive version of the SCLIVE 2, the Denon DJ SCLIVE 4 sets pro-level deejays up with an attainable 4-channel/4-deck controller that comes loaded with twice the number of channels, decks and performance pads. In fact, you're looking at eight physical performance pads with integrated RGB lighting, an AUX input that gives you the option to plug in an external media player or line source, and an extra XLR microphone input - in other words: everything you need to enter the big club circuit with a bang.

Connectivity & Compatibility

Since the SCLIVE 4 has been equipped with a built-in Wi-Fi module, you can instantly connect it with your favourite streaming service, making it the world's first DJ controller that's compatible with Amazon's Music Unlimited - a free trial of which comes included so you can get a taste of what this service has to offer. This DJ controller also supports services like TIDAL, Beatport, Beatsource, SoundCloud GO+ and even Dropbox and, after hooking it up to your laptop, you can tap right into the potential of Serato DJ Pro (licence included) or dip into Virtual DJ (not included).

Hands on Deck

The SCLIVE 4 is able to quickly analyse tracks and assign them to a style, basically allowing you to step on stage without prepping your set beforehand. Denon DJ have also smartly opted to implement the same standard club-layout, intuitive workflow and features of their SC6000 PRIME media players and mixers, and each deck comes kitted out with four physical performance pads for your hot cues, rolls, auto-loops and manual loops. Meanwhile, the on-board effects - which include Sweep FX - can be freely combined and used in combination with various filters for those all-important creative touches and smooth transitions.
