General

If you're a travelling blues musician, you'll want an amp that sounds great, doesn't weigh much and demands a minimal amount of maintenance. Roland offers an amp that combines all that: the Blues Cube Hot in a gorgeous Vintage Blond finish. This transistor amp combo will blow you away with its looks as well as its sound. When you hear it, you'll swear it's a tube amp, but it's not. That's the result of Roland's unique Tube Logic system, which pretty much flawlessly reproduces the sound of an authentic tube amp combo. Combined with the delicious sound of a Custom Tunes 12-inch speaker and weighing only 12 kilos, what's not to like?

Fully equipped

You can use the Blues Cube anywhere, any time, by plugging in a set of headphones or using the line-out, for instance. When you're in the studio, or jamming at home, you can connect it to your computer using the USB B output. This amp combo is great for use at home due to its selectable wattage that can go from an ultra-quiet 0.5 to a slighter louder 5 watts, to half capacity (15 watts) and of course full capacity (30 watts). This way, you can turn up the volume and enjoy the sound of hard-working tubes thanks to Roland's special Tube Logic.

More blues than you can handle

This amp is chock full of possibilities! Besides the standard Volume, Bass, Middle, Treble and Master Volume knobs, the Blues Cube also has a Reverb option to make your sound even livelier. The two buttons next to the Volume control are a great addition - Boost adds extra crunch that will make your signal growl, and Tone controls the clarity of your sound. You can turn both buttons on and off with an separately available foot switch. Apres avoir eu pas mal d amplis à lampes allant de Rivera a Laney, Hugues & Kettner, Ibanez TSA etc ... j etais allé au salon de la musique en Allemagne ou j avais decouvert le Roland Blues Cube Stage qui m avait bluffé et que j ai acheté puis revendu a regret apres quelques années d utilisation sans soucis et de bons et loyaux services, c est donc avec bonheur que j ai a nouveau craqué pour cette version Roland Blues Cube Hot qui reprend quasiment toutes les fonctionnalités de la version stage mais en mono canal avec en + un poids plus light.

Merveille d ampli transistor avec un son de lampes bluffant et quasi indécelable pour qui ne le saurait pas en écoutant a l aveugle ...

je le recommande justement les yeux fermé !!!

Wrote the following about Roland Blues Cube Hot Vintage Blond transistor amp combo

Bax Music heeft mij gevraagd een recensie te plaatsen over een besteld product, n.l. de Roland Blues Cube Hot Vintage Blond transistor combo. Deze versterker met z.g. Tube Logic (reacting and sounding like a tube amp) is uitgebreid getest op internet met zeer lovende kritieken, waar ik niets aan heb toe te voegen. Wel heb ik de versterker onderworpen aan een ultieme stresstest die als volgt gaat: speel van Eric Clapton Hideaway en Snakedrive, als bij de doubble stops op snaar G en B bij oversturing (overdrive) vreemde en zeer dominante basgeluiden en harmonischen ontstaan voldoet de versterker niet aan mijn eis, voorts moeten de lage snaren A en E op positie 12 duidelijk klinken (niet muddie). Voor deze stresstest scoort de Blues Cube een 7.
Wat betreft het uiterlijk is Roland afgestapt van de vorm van de langlopende Cube, dat model stond voor degelijkheid en afwerking. De Blues Cube doet denken aan de Vintage amps van Fender, maar hiermee heeft Roland bij de productie ook enige slordigheden geïntroduceerd bij het aanbrengen van het kunstleer met name zichtbare naden etc. Bij de Cube is dit keurig afgedekt.
De Roland Blues Cube is een transistor versterker die zijn weg wel zal vinden en in vele gevallen een goed alternatief is voor de buizenversterker. Dat Roland daar vertrouwen in heeft blijkt wel uit de onlangs drastisch verhoogde prijzen.

De Roland Bleus cube hot , niet goedkoop , maar wel kwaliteit .
Geen vervelend gegrom of gezoem zoals bij sommige versterkers .
Perfect geluid , geen franjes ,en vermogen instelbaar naar 0,5 watt zonder dat de klankkleur veranderd.
