One of the most sought-after Duesenberg creations, the Starplayer TV brings all the elegance of a semi-hollow body with an arched top and back, and all the sonic grace of a Domino P90 neck pickup and a Grand Vintage bridge humbucker. This Custom Shop Edition has been given a Rusty Steel finish, so every bit of this instrument has been coated in a thin layer of metal particles which have then been aged to complete an exclusive, antique-industrial look. The process is performed entirely by hand, so every example has its own unique character, and when you add on the improved performance of a Duesenberg Deluxe Tremola tailpiece and the playability of the medium-D profiled maple neck, you have an irresistible six-string stunner. This singular model comes complete with a form-fitting Custom Line hardshell case.

The Duesenberg Starplayer TV: The Birth of Rock & Roll

This model bears the much-loved sound of a Domino P90 at the neck and a Duesenberg GrandVintage humbucker at the bridge. This is basically a rock-and-roll dreamteam, where the P90 packs chords with sweet and airy openness and the humbucker frames leads with the fat edge of a classic dual-coil. When the three-way pickup switch is flipped into the middle position, a special circuit is activated to filter out the lower frequencies, leaving a sparkling, shimmering output behind and completing a versatile tonal array.

Wrote the following about Duesenberg Custom Shop Starplayer TV Rusty Steel Semi-Acoustic Guitar with Case

I received the guitar within the stated delivery time (3 weeks). The guitar and case were received without any flaws or damage. The guitar is fantastic and is easy to play right out of the box. I have never bought a guitar that is that easy to play and think this is because of the PLEK process creating neck and frets. I use it for blues and country and use the neck pick-up most of the time.
If I had to find something to moan about it is probably the finish. The rusty steel finish in my opinion did not come out as well on this guitar as other guitars I had seen on websites; it looks more like a dark brown guitar with not much evidence of rusty steel or patina. I would have liked a bit more of that because that is what you pay extra for.
