General

Built for beginners looking for a more unique twist on a T-style electric guitar, this is the Fazley Outlaw Series Coyote Plus SS. This model has been set up with a solid ash body finished with a hand-rubbed stain to bring out the wood grain and complete a rare and refined looked. As such, every example of the Coyote Plus is genuinely unique. This fierce guitar also comes complete with a gig bag.

The Outlaw Series Coyote Plus SS

Besides the striking look and despite the affordable price-tag, this guitar has some pretty high-end build details. The maple neck has been roasted: a specific treatment where the wood is literally heated to remove moisture and maximise stability, and this level of stability has been carried through to a fixed Wilkinson bridge and Graph Tech TUSQ nut to support firm tuning and intonation. In short, this instrument serves up reliability and snug comfort as well as the ferocious bite and growl of a pair of single-coil pickups.

Purchased this guitar in March 2024.
I would say the red colour is more a brown but even so the string through ash body is well balanced and has a nice weight with a tactile feel with Wilkinson hardware.
The roasted maple neck has excellent fretwork no sharp edges.
The electrics and tuners do the job. This guitar has an excellent spec for the money and is ideal for beginners such as myself. Recommended

I bought one of these very recently -
Body, colour & finish: Red wouldn't have been my choice of colour but it was a B-stock at an attractive price so I went for it: it looks far better in the flesh and the hand rubbed stain is really nice with a lovely tactile feel to it. The string through ash body is well balanced and has a nice weight, coupled with a Wilkinson bridge - super!
The roasted maple neck: with its rolled edges and excellent fretwork is sublime, a great feature for a guitar at this price point and a joy to play.
The pick up's and switch gear: are OK, they do the job (but I may change them in the future) - same story for the tuners: perfectly functional but a set of lockers will be better.
I'm really pleased with my purchase: it's brilliant for the money! and have no hesitation in awarding 5 stars and recommending the Outlaw Coyote Plus to others.

Gekocht in maart 2024 ben ik na een jaar dienst nog steeds tevreden over deze gitaar. Ik sluit me aan bij de beoordelingen van Remy Bonnet en John: voor dit budget een kwaliteitsvolle gitaar, goed bespeelbaar, prachtige hals met uitstekend fretwerk. Tuners en electronica zijn oké (pickups zal ik wellicht wel vervangen) en de kleur is effectief meer bruinachtig dan rood... Out-of-the-box (in dit geval de meegeleverde gigbag) was wel wat afstelling nodig (actie, intonatie - iets lastiger dan verwacht bij de Wilkinson brug) en de snaren kan je best vervangen. Al bij al: eerder een 4,5 dan een 4, een goede gitaar voor het geld, aanbevelenswaardig.

C'est assez dingue de trouver une guitare de cette qualité à ce prix là.
Jouabilité, légèreté, lutherie.
J'enlève une étoile pour les micros qui ne peuvent forcément pas être au niveau, un micro digne de ce nom ayant le prix quasiment de la guitare. En bref, c'est cool !
